Welcome To The Official Quixotica Home Page!
quixotic adj : not sensible about practical matters; unrealistic; "as quixotic as a restoration of medieval knighthood"; "a romantic disregard for money"; "a wild-eyed dream of a world state"
Quixotica, letting you host the way YOU want!
Quixotica is a scrambler programmed in
Basic 6.0, with parts coded in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, designed to run
on America Online 4.0 and 5.0. To
my knowledge, Quixotica 1.0 will be more configurable and have more features
than any other scrambler, including Tera and e=mcscrambler.
Finally, the HOST chooses EXACTLY how they want the game to go, the options allow for anyone to easily tell Quixotica how THEY want the game to be.
Quixotica completely blows the competition out of the water, ushering in a new era of power.
Support for 1 or more winners
Advanced scoring system
- Standard (user defined points for each winner)
- Step Scoring (points decrease with winners; with 3 winners: 1st - 3 pts, 2nd - 2pts, 3rd - 1pt)
- SmartScore (points based on the winner#, time, and word length)
Support for Quixotica, Tera, and most other logs
NEW! Player statistics tracking: games played, games won, words played, average time.

Technical support. (see menu in program or contact section on this site)
Host-N-Play: Allows the host to play, blocks visibility of the list/answers/anything that could help a cheater.
Multiple Instance Blocking: Quixotica does not allow multiple instances, another cannot be open even if the first is loading, unless SuperHost is enabled (used CreateMutex())
